Great Irish Book Week
The Great Irish Book Week will take place from Saturday 24 October, running until Saturday 31 October, 2009.
The Great Irish Book Week is designed so that you know a Great Irish Book when you see one. Currach Press are supporting this endeavour. An independent panel of booksellers has selected 30 new fiction, poetry, non-fiction and Irish-language books to showcase the best new Irish titles. This includes 2 Currach Press titles, In Bloom - Irish Bands Now and Debt Busters - Managing Your Money Through The Recession.
Debt Busters is Eddie Hobbs' timely response to the recession. In this book he explains clearly and practically how to manage your spending and the money you owe - even if you feel overwhelmed by your level of indebtedness - and come out the other side in leaner and fitter financial shape. Read a short extract of Eddie's advice, taken from Chapter 15, Job Loss in his new title. For a limited time, Debt Busters is available in a special bundle deal with The Career Doctor for €20.
In Bloom - Irish Bands Now highlights some of Ireland's young up and coming rock bands! The book contains interviews, photos, and bio information for a number of young popular Irish Bands. Read about The Coronas, one of the bands featured in the book, in this short extract from this new Currach Press title.
Great Irish Book Week has produced an innovative book sampler for the titles featured during the week. Be Inspired - Gems from Irish Publishing contains extracts from each one of the 30 featured Great Irish Books, including those from Currach Press.
